DHC IAPT Service now operating in North West Surrey

DHC is pleased to announce the expansion of our IAPT service to North West Surrey CCG. The service began operating from 3 locations including Woking Community Hospital and Weybridge Community Hospital in May 2017. To self-refer complete our simple online form.

DHC marked its 10th Anniversary in style with staff gathering for a black tie event to celebrate the achievements of DHC over the last 10 years. A fantastic time was had by all and we are excited for what the next 10 years may bring.

This is an exciting time for DHC as we have recently expanded our outpatient services to Horsham & Mid Sussex and Crawley CCGs for the following specialties:

We have continued to grow and develop as an organisation throughout this time. We are proud of the model of care that we have developed at DHC. We continue to develop services in a steady, responsible way that demonstrates quality whilst delivering excellent value for money for the NHS.

DHC is pleased to announce the expansion of our IAPT service to Guildford and Waverley CCG. The service will operate from 3 locations in Guildford from 19th July 2016. To self-refer complete our simple online form.

DHC Announces New Friends and Family Survey

Events of recent years have demonstrated the vital importance of listening to patients in ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality services. The introduction of the 'Friends and Family Test' provides patients, the public and staff with feedback about our NHS which can be used in a similar way to Trip Advisor which informs other choices in our lives. DHC welcomes feedback on our services at all the sites we cover to ensure we can continually improve on the service that we offer. To help us do this please click below and complete our questionnaire. All the feedback is anonymous, we only ask questions with regards to age and gender as a guide to understand the demographics of the survey.

The survey is available both in paper form as well as electronic at our Dorking Hospital site.

DHC develops new rooms

Due to DHC's expansion of services in the East Surrey area over the last few years we have opened a new suite of rooms in Holmhurst Medical Centre in Redhill. These rooms comprise 4 consulting rooms, a treatment room, office and a reception area.

These new rooms enable us to consolidate our services in this part of Surrey (out-patients, ultrasound and therapies) in a modern and well-equipped set of purpose designed rooms.

DHC new identity

Dorking Healthcare was set up in 2005 to serve the needs of the Dorking population only. However, since we obtained AQP (any qualified provider) accreditation in 2012 DHC has been able to extend services further across Surrey. As our expansion continues the reference to 'Dorking' can be seen as confusing to referrers and patients. We decided the time was right to rebrand.

The rebranding covers all areas, such as:-

  • Logo
  • Website
  • Signage
  • Stationery

We hope that these changes position DHC as an easily identifiable provider of healthcare services in a local setting.

The rebranding will have no adverse effect on the services we provide or the way in which we provide them, it merely serves to identify DHC as a strong provider in an increasingly competitive NHS.
